YEP! (Youth EmPowering!) is a new vibrant youth movement organization in Indonesia. Unique combinations of multicultural, interfaith, multiple backgrounds in education, culture and language are the foundation which connecting and bond us as one youth movement. YEP! was mainly founded to make Indonesian youth be able to give their maximum contribution for their family, environment, Indonesia, and the world itself. Besides that, YEP! also aimed in preparing Indonesian Youth to be able to respond global challanges, including challanges that will affect their future.

YEP! believes that Youth would not be able to give their maximum contribution unless youth itself got an improvement. That is where YEP! can play its role, by providing an assistance for youth in improving themselves.  YEP! does also believe in quote, ‘like a drop that falls in the water, no matter how small is the drop, still it creates a long-range wave.’ It means that even the small thing could bring a great impact if it falls in the right medium (there will be no long-range wave if a drop falls in land) . So, no matter what kind of youth they are, either skilled, semi-skilled or even unskilled, through YEP! they still could bring a significant impact to their own environment, as long as they have a willingness to be better.

OUR TAGLINE:

The YEP! Tagline is YEP! Is Youth For the World. It means that YEP! is an organization that serve the youth to share their ideas, to learn new skills and knowledge, to exchange experiences, to implement their creativities and actively involved to make a better change to the world in four main core sectors in culture and language, education, social issues and environment. There are three reason why we chose this tagline:

  1. Youth as the citizen of the world. Every citizen has responsibility in keeping, protecting and also developing his or her own country. That’s why youth do also have the responsibility to their ‘beloved-country’.
  2. Youth as the future of the world. Youth hold the future of the world, since youth who will be the leaders of the world in the future. Youth will determine the world, whether to destruction or not.
  3. Our Planet, Our Home! YEP! believes that this world, this planet is like our home, and because of that we MUST to make our home comfortable, beautiful, ‘clean’, and strong so it can stand for long time. Not only the ‘home’ that need to be kept but also everything inside it, including the people inside it. Everyone in our ‘home’ is family, no matter how different they are.
